Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from clinic owners, medical directors, and healthcare administrators exploring our partnership model.

Licensed acupuncturists are assigned to your clinic once or twice weekly. They work within your existing space, coordinate scheduling through your front desk, and integrate documentation into your EMR. You provide physician referrals when appropriate, and we handle everything else: licensing, billing, compliance, and quality assurance.

There are zero upfront capital requirements. We provide the acupuncturists, equipment, supplies, billing infrastructure, and compliance oversight. Revenue is generated through patient visits, and our model is structured so your clinic benefits financially without absorbing operational risk.

Our billing team specializes in Medicare Advantage coding and documentation requirements. We handle prior authorizations, claims submission, appeals, and payer relationships directly. We maintain active credentialing with Aetna, Humana, Cigna, CarePlus, HealthSun, Preferred, Simply, Solis, and other major MA plans.

We integrate with Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, and most major EMR platforms. Treatment notes, progress reports, and outcome metrics are delivered within 24 hours of each session. We also participate in monthly clinical coordination meetings to keep your physicians informed.

From signed agreement to first patient treatment is typically 2 to 3 weeks. This includes acupuncturist assignment, credentialing verification, EMR integration setup, and staff orientation. Multi-location groups may require additional coordination time.

Pain clinics, primary care practices, Medicare-focused practices, and multi-location physician groups with established referral processes and care coordination systems are ideal partners. We do not typically partner with one-time vendors or organizations lacking referral infrastructure.

Yes. All acupuncturists in our network carry active malpractice insurance, and our organization maintains comprehensive general liability coverage. We also manage state licensing maintenance and continuing education requirements for every provider.

We focus on chronic pain and related conditions including sciatica, low back pain, neck pain, migraines, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and stress-related pain. Treatment plans are developed in coordination with your physicians based on each patient's clinical presentation.
